RISE AGAINST HUNGER

RISE AGAINST HUNGER date is set for Sat. Sept 21, 2019 at Lakeview High School cafeteria.  A dozen volunteers will be needed at 7:30 to help set up and 40 more volunteers will be needed from 9-noon or so. We also are asking for monetary donations as it costs $3000 to provide 10,000 meals.

Mother’s Day

Memorial Day Parade

CHAMPION MEMORIAL DAY PARADE Monday,  May  27  at    9:00  a.m.  The  path  of  travel  is:  St. William  Church,  north  to  township cemetery  across from  Central  Elementary School  for  a  memorial  service  hosted  by Champion Rotary  Club.  St. John  Lutheran  Church  will  have  a  float.

Prince of Peace

SCHOOL  BAGS  will  be  needed  again  this  year.    Carol Sandrock  found  a  windfall of corduroy  at a  yard  sale. It has  been  cut  up  and  made  into  kits  which  are available  for  those  of  you  who  sew  and  are  willing  to make  a  few  bags  this  summer.
