FOOD PANTRY OPENS

Lakeview K-8 Building The food pantry is asking for toiletries for the students who need them as Second Harvest and other programs do not provide such.  Deodorant, feminine hygiene products, soap, body wash, and shampoo will be joyfully received.  There is a plastic bin on the table in the fellowship hall where such donations can be placed.  After ringing the bell at Walmart for many years we now will be doing it at Sparkle in Cortland  and only for a short period of time.  Prince of Peace is responsible for one hour shifts on Friday, December 7 from 3:30-7:30.  That is only 4 shifts!!! ADOPT A FOOT

We needs your donations now. We have been assisted by the Cortland Rotary and Cortland Lions and have requested money from the Cortland Salvation Army unit. We are about 2/3 of the way to our goal of $3600. The children will shop the week before Thanksgiving. Shoes are again $30 per pair. Any donations  are welcomed. Checks need to be made out to Prince of Peace with “Adopt a Foot” or “shoes” on the memo line.
