Red Kettle @ Prince of Peace

Due to the pandemic, the Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign is suspended for this year. However, Prince of Peace and all Lakeview Outreach and Fellowship (L.O.A.F.) Churches in Cortland have Red Kettles in their narthexes. Please consider a donation each Sunday as you enter the sanctuary. All donations remain in the Cortland area.

Church Christmas Decorating @ St. John

Hanging of the Greens at St. John will take place following worship on Sunday, November 22. Masks and social distancing. Please plan to stay and help beautify our sanctuary for the upcoming Advent and Christmas seasons.

Giving Tree @ Prince of Peace

Most of you know about the change in the Giving Tree this year. Because of the virus, there is concern that some would not be comfortable shopping for gifts for the children. The decision was made to collect donations and purchase Walmart gift cards (with restrictions) to be given to the parents of the children who need extra help. We simply must trust that the parents will do the right thing. I will be accepting your donations of the amount you would normally spend on the child you chose or whatever amount you can give. It can be cash or a check made out to me. The deadline for donations is Sunday, November 29th.

I hope and pray that you will trust me in this important project.
